In a recent interview with The Pulaski Star, Pulaski County Board of Supervisors member Joe Guthrie said it is in the best interests of the county to build a new consolidated middle school.
Guthrie said the cost of renovating Dublin Middle School would be almost as much as constructing a new middle school. While it would be possible to renovate the current DMS building, he also said the current Pulaski Middle School is beyond renovation.
Guthrie says a tax increase is on the way for the county, regardless of how Pulaski County citizens vote on the referendum in November. See the full interview in the video.
